Did I See You at the Traffic & Conversion Summit?

SWEET! You're back. Leave a comment on the blog and make sure you join my FREE Marketing Tips newsletter so we can stay in touch.

We’ll folks, I just returned from the Traffic and Conversion Summit in Austin, TX with Ryan Deiss and Perry Belcher.  The content these guys dished out shoveled out was phenomenal.

They brought us into their inner circle and shared some amazing traffic generation and conversion techniques.

We could hardly believe the level of detail they shared with us.

Don’t expect to see many blog posts for the next month or so …I’m going to be busy taking action on everything we learned.

In that spirit, I’d like to share some strategies with you to help you maximize your time at group events.

How to Maximize Your Time at Conferences

Conferences, seminars and summits are great opportunities to network and to lay the groundwork for future joint venture and mastermind relationships.  You really never know who you will meet or what will happen when you “show up.”

A key mindset I picked up at Eben Pagan’s Guru Mastermind Content Summit was to ask, “What value can I create for each person I meet?”.  This is a big mindset shift from the usual “What can this person do for me?” line of thinking (which I was guilty of in the past).

Forget what’s in it for you.  Contribute and create value for others.  Give with no expectation of return.  I think you’ll like the results.  It’s more fun to operate that way anyway.

What’s your best tip to meet new people in your industry?
